Hi, I’m Marisa. Great to have you here!

I specialize in three specific categories (bisexuality, non-monogamy & Deafness), each of which has become a catalyst for my personal journey towards authenticity. To leave out any one of them would be neglecting an essential part of who I am and what I can offer. I believe that embracing the full spectrum of identity leads us to deeper connections.

I'm passionate about using my professional and personal knowledge to help others un-learn social constructs such as: gender, heteronormativity, traditional monogamy and ableism. Navigating my own identities and the isolation which accompanied each of them has presented me with rich opportunities to normalize that which is stigmatized. Making the invisible visible was a vulnerable and transformative process that led me to find more compatible and meaningful connections, and a purposeful community.

Let me empower you to gain a more intuitive understanding of yourself and your desires so that you can stand alone with confidence in your identity while also feeling the support of communities in which you belong. The intersections of your oppressed identities are valid and crucial to connecting more authentically with others.

I’m known for my ability to examine information from many different perspectives. We will get inquisitive and creative about the practical actions you can take which will propel you forward to becoming the person you want to be.
