Deaf & Hard-of-Hearing

personalized support for parents, children and individuals

Culturally Competent and ASL fluent

If you or someone close to you is experiencing hearing loss or deafness, let me support and guide you on this journey.

Every individual and family has a unique set of needs. I evaluate your needs, strengths and barriers and use that to identify the necessary interventions to set you up for success. I offer a safe space with an empathic and knowledgeable presence to help you navigate the challenges ahead.

We’ll craft a unique approach that will reduce frustration and isolation. I will familiarize you with communication tools, self-advocacy, technology, accommodations, resources and community connections to help you and your loved ones thrive.

I have this unique perspective of having progressive hearing loss as a child, and experiencing the school system with no accommodations and no mentors.

When I realized I was different from my peers, I embarked on a journey of learning ASL and becoming a Deaf adult. Now, I have a Deaf/HH child who attends a Deaf School.

I've walked the complicated line of living in both the Hearing and Deaf worlds, being both a consumer and a provider.

I know the challenges and the art of being in-between.
